Our involvement

Various members of the Feeling Good Foundation have contributed to this report Health, Wellbeing and Productivity in Offices: The Next Chapter for Green Building which was launched on the 24th September 2014.  Richard Francis chaired the Metrics group and viewpoints were provided by Elina Grigoriou and the late Paul Hinkin.  These founding members of the Feeling Good Foundation, including Professor Emeritus Derek Clements-Croome and Briony Turner, were also contributing authors.

About the report

The report identifies a range of factors – from air quality and lighting, to views of nature and interior layout – that can affect the health, satisfaction and job performance of office workers. It also provides a simple toolkit that businesses can be used to measure the health, wellbeing and productivity of their buildings and inform financial decision-making.

The report is aimed at a business audience and although we have tried to weave in some tangible practical pieces, this is just the start. The Feeling Good Foundation welcomes  the sharing of experience and identification of knowledge gaps from delivery teams worldwide. We believe this report is a great start on what is a very important issue.
